I believe I can safely say there is one common dream among musicians.
To be involved with an original project.
It was around this time that it once again happened for me.
A dear friend, and great drummer, Scott Middleton, asked if I would be interested in auditioning for a group called THE SHADE. Scott gave me some tapes and I was very impressed with the writing, and the musicianship.
After landing the gig, we began rehearsals on previous originals, as well as working up their new ones.
We soon found ourselves in 3 different studios, rehearsing and laying down tracks.

I'm very proud of the work done for the CD, but disappointed that the group didn't make it's way to a stage after over 3 months of rehearsals.

Everybody has to eat, and there is no money in rehearsing, so Scott and I ended up getting lucky with NEIGHBORHOOD THREAT. Another great group of musicians, willing to adopt the philosophies of a unique songlist and a little hard work.
